Centennial Titans at Lake Dallas Falcons
Friday, September 6| Falcon Stadium| 7:00 pm

Series Meeting…
The Titans and the Falcons will meet on the gridiron for the 12th time in school history. Last season, the Falcons defeated the Titans 40-34 at the Ford Center. The Falcons hold an all-time advantage of 9 wins and 2 losses.

Players to Watch…
Lake Dallas’ standout defensive back Kobe Minor committed to Texas Tech over the summer. He was a first-team all-district performer in 2018, when he led Lake Dallas in interceptions with three and tied for the team lead with 97 tackles. Minor is a 2 way player for the Falcons and is a dangerous return man on the special teams units.

Air Force commit Brandon Engel, who led the team in receiving last season with 62 catches for 1,093 yards and 11 touchdowns, is moving to quarterback. Against the Denton Broncos, Engel finished the night 11 of 17 for 218 yards and a touchdown. Engel is a dual threat QB who can really stretch the defense with his athletic ability and speed.

Defensively…
Minor will manage the secondary along with Christian Hernandez. Senior Michael Soileau (6-3, 265 pounds) will anchor the defensive line, and Zack Blakely will lead the linebacker corps.

Offensively…
The Falcons will be led by senior receivers Jaden McGrew, Jakoby Washington, Hunter Hope, Fabian Nava, Sam Collier and sophomore Godwin Ugochukwu. The Falcons are strong in the backfield with Trevor Lindsey and Ike Onyekwere. Onyekwere had a big night vs Denton rushing 33 times for 131 yards.
